Queensland manufacturer ROTO–FAB introduces the plastic Piranha 3M, an all-round craft suitable as a tender or a compact fishing boat

Plastic Piranha

The Piranha 3M is not the usual small boat. Manufactured with high-impact polyethylene, the manufacturer says it will withstand strong impact, is scratch resistant and retains its colour longer than other materials.

Piranha’s 3M has innovative features for a fun, safe time on the water, with a load capacity of 225kg or three adults. An important safety feature of the Piranha is the integral level floatation buoyancy to survey standard.

The Piranha says the 3M is a great compact fishing boat with a large fuel tank and storage compartment located at the bow and concealed by the carpeted casting platform.

The Piranha is also an excellent choice as a tender. The high-impact resistance of the polyethylene construction makes the Piranha almost impervious to dents and scratches that would be noticeable on many other boats. Piranha has one word ? they’re TOUGH!

Standard features of the Piranha 3M include a choice of eight colours, anchor well, stainless steel rail, aluminium transom plate, bung, rowlocks, carpeted casting deck, stainless steel stern and grabrails, and a tow point. Standard colour options include teal, regal blue, royal blue, yellow, apple green, white, orange and caster red.

Optional extras include an internal fuel line, rodholders, and internal stainless steel handrails.

ROTO–FAB of Bundaberg, Qld, manufactures the Piranha 3M as well as a range of products for marine applications including stainless steel handrails, bowrails, and other general fabrication.
