James Whelan of Port Melbourne in Victoria was the first name drawn out  of the barrel.

Whelan, a TrailerBoat subscriber, was thrilled with the win and picked up a Savage boat, motor and trailer package including a 380 Big Boy, 25hp Mercury four-stroke outboard and Dunbier trailer.

"I can't believe this, you're joking," Whelan said when hearing of his lucky win.
