Savage has extended its popular BayCruiser range with the addition of a new 520 model, which the boatbuilder said is an ideal craft for the first time owner or the serious boating family

The 520 BayCruiser has been built from the ground up and could well be the best looking vessel in its class, with stylish lines, fibreglass top deck and sports windscreen, said Savage.

A huge cockpit provides plenty of space for the family and the windscreen's large walkthrough gives easy access to the bow, said the manufacturer, while high quality seating at the front and back, along with storage space, makes for a comfortable day on the water fishing, swimming or just seeing the sights.

Savage said BayCruisers have always been a breeze to tow and stow, and the 520's low profile makes it even easier.

"This is a true multi-purpose boat - it can be a daycruiser, a family boat, a fishing boat or you can use it for skiing," said Colin Perkovic, Brunswick's aluminium boat group sales manager.

"It's true to say that first time buyers these days are opting for larger boats, something around this size, and the 520 BayCruiser would be ideal in that role.

"It's got the strength and longevity which goes with aluminum, but it looks like something that's been imported from the US and handles very well," Perkovic said.

Savage said the 520 BayCruiser is built to the highest standard with stainless steel fittings and finished with an automotive standard paint job, and is available as part of a 'Just Add Water' package which teams the boat with a trailer and engine in one money-saving deal. Every new Savage is backed by a comprehensive three-year limited warranty, with Mercury finance available to suit every budget.
