It had to be simple to use; a one-person operation with no physical effort required, while robust enough to travel anywhere. Also, it needed to carry a reasonably sized craft with room for bulky items like crab pots, anchors, and chairs under the boat.

So Bill designed and built the Custom Boat Loader.

The roof rack/loader is made from powder coated structural grade aluminium with a heavy duty 6mm mesh floor and all other fittings stainless steel.

The yachting pulleys are rated at 550kg, the front ropes at 750kg and the stern ropes at 550kg.

The maintenance-free worm drive gearbox means the boat can be stopped in any position and cannot move. Once on the loader, the ropes lock it down for travel.
