Malibu Boats says it has added four new models to its 2009 range and some new innovations as well

All-new for 2009 is the Malibu Wakesetter VLX that the manufacturer said is transforming the inboard industry. With its aggressive looks and new styling offering another level to what has become the benchmark in wakeboard boats, Malibu said this model is sure to be a superstar in its line up.

The Wakesetter VLX features an entirely new hull and deck design, new interior and dash, and is available in both Wake and Diamond hull designs. The Australian release date for this model is slated for February 2009.

The Sunscape 21 LSV is another new model which has classy design cues and will no doubt help to elevate the Sunscape line to a new level, said Malibu. This variant shares the same ergonomically improved dash design as the VLX and will also be available from early 2009.

Malibu said its new revolutionary Response FXi reflects the popularity and demand of the company's 20ft Wakesetter VTX.

The Response FXi now offers the boatbuilder's multifaceted Diamond version of this hull in a centre-mount design. Malibu said it provides Response LXi customers a boat with more room and freeboard, but now with the versatility of optional rear ballast. Release for this model is January 2009.

Malibu said the V-Ride gains new life in '09 with the introduction of the new 21 V-Ride. With the DNA of the 05-08 VLX V25 hull, this model will be built to appeal to the entry level buyer and will be competitively priced, said the boatbuilder. Standard to this model are dual rear sub-floor ballast tanks with a centre tank as an option. The 21 V-Ride is expected to be released early next year, but following the VLX and FXI.

Malibu said among new features and options is an all-new Mali View 6.5in Dash Display System.
