Why stop at just boats?

With some of the country's richest individuals expected to visit the Gold Coast this weekend, its is no surprise that some the locals will be displaying the full range of leisure time toys -- not just boats.

The Grant Torrens International Marine organisation will be hosting its brokerage and lifestyle display at its Sovereign Islands marina for the 10th year, with more than $65 million worth of luxury yachts, game fishing boats, sports boats, exotic cars, classic cars and helicopters.

The centrepiece of the display will be the 120ft Christensen motoryacht Silent World II (first image) which was brought to Australia after cruising extensively in the Bahamas and Caribbean and then undergoing a total style and interior refit.

Sports car fans can drool over a range of Aston Martins -- Vantage, DBS and Roadster models, as well as the Aston Martin GT racing team cars.

Helibiz will have a range of R44 helicopters on display and details of a new partnership that will allow charterers to fly direct to charter yachts already moored in their favourite locations.

The tri-deck Silent World II offers an unsurpassed level of luxury for eight guests with various dining options and a vast main saloon.

Also on display will be a range of luxury yachts from Maritimo, Rivera, Bertram, Horizon, Mone Fino, Princess, Azimut, Sea Ray and Ocean Alexander.

The Grant Torrens International Marine Brokerage Boat and Lifestyle Display will be open from Thursday, May 20 to May 23.
