Modern look for motorboat line-up
Bavaria Yachts has spent the past two years working with the team from BMW Group DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary of the BMW Group, to update its previous motorboat line and give the vessels a clean, modern look.

The Sport 28 was the first boat off the production line and now the Sport 34 will be unveiled at the autumn (European seasons) boat show in Friedrichshafen.

Based on the same lines as the Sport 28 and the Sport 38, that was released earlier this year, the Sport 34 is being hailed by Bavaria as unbeatable value for money. Priced from just 111,900 Euros (A$161,478), excluding tax, the Sport 34 is expected to be a key seller in the Bavaria line over the next few years.

The design has been developed to give improved function and easier handling, along with safety, high-end finishes and attention to detail. It is aimed both at families and those owners who just want to have fun on the water. The cockpit has ample seating for six people and there is a large sunlounge behind the windscreen.

The deep cockpit and the wide side decks, with a railing running around, ensure safe manoeuvring when docking. The cockpit has an integrated wet bar and the option of fitting an electric grill and a fridge.

Below decks there is an unexpected 1.90 metres of headroom in the saloon and six flush deck hatches and six hull windows to give a light and bright feeling. The separate master cabin offers a large island bed while the aft cabin has two single beds that can be turned into a double if needed. The head is available with a separate shower stall.

Three interior woods are available, along with a range of fabrics.

The standard model Sport 34 will come with twin Volvo-Penta 225hp petrol engines with Z-drives. Optional 320 hp petrol engines and three Volvo-Penta diesels - ranging from 220hp to 260 hp in twin installation and a 370hp single engine - will be available. Joystick control will be an option for all twin engined models.
