Signature boats, which last year released the very well-received Signature 602F and the 543RF, has added to its range of genuine fishing boats with the release of the new Signature 502RF (Runabout Fisher).

The RF range has been popular with fishermen from the Barrier Reef to Rottnest Island for many years because of its focus on giving extra workspace in the deck area, ample storage space in the bow, and a walk-through to the bow and anchor.

The 502RF has been totally redesigned from the keel to the gunwhale and with the space and storage available no-one will be tripping over their gear when trying to land a whopper.

Signature designed the 502RF to appeal to fishermen and women across the country, particularly those who are tired of having their kidneys pounded in a hard-riding tinny. The Signature's soft-riding fibreglass, patented SVDH (Signature Variable Deadrise Hull) is guaranteed to get you to your favourite spot without feeling like you have to visit the chiropractor.

With a towing weight of just 1120kgs, the 5023RF can be comfortably towed by a family car rather than needing a big four-wheel drive to do the job.

The main features of the new model are a 25-inch high transom with a walk-through door or fish-landing gate, a modern dash designed to fit 12in screen electronics and toe holds under the side boxes for extra security when fishing.

The boat is also fitted with a 12-volt power plug, an automatic bilge pump, a battery isolation switch and a 100-litre fuel tank.

All the family will appreciate the high freeboard, the safety of the foam-filled hull, and the large-volume stowage areas in the bow. The helm is designed to be used either sitting or standing and the model has a higher-set windscreen to give protection from the elements.

Signature boats, which are produced in south eastern Queensland, give buyers a 10+2 warranty -- 10 years structural warranty and two years warranty on parts.
